COVID-19 Preventive Measures for the IDA Conference on Water Reuse and Recycling

Following the Italian Government Protocols, a set of health and safety measures will be put in place as COVID-19 risk mitigation measures during the IDA conference. Participants are required to review the separate document here which outlines all measures and guidelines in more detail. Before entering the conference, non-vaccinated  participants must have a negative COVID test dated October 11, 2021 or provide by 1 October a copy to IDA of a valid vaccine card, also known in Europe as a Green Pass, and fulfill one of the testing exemptions for recovered or vaccinated persons indicated here.  The conference on-line registration form now allows participants to upload their vaccination document prior to registering. For those who have already registered, please send a copy of your vaccination document to papers@idadesal.org by 1 October. Body temperature will be checked for all persons requiring access to the conference venue, using thermo-scanners installed at the entry point. During the conference all participants will be required to wear a facemask and keep a safe distance from other delegates. Hand sanitizers will be available in all common areas. All conference areas will be sanitized before and after use. English-language guidance on current entry and exit requirements into Italy can be monitored on the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ website and on the Italian Ministry of Health website.
