Abstract Title: SYSTEM OPTIMIZATION FOR FILTRATION SYSTEMS IN INDUSTRIAL WATER REUSE WITH SELF-ADAPTIVE CONTROL ALGORITHMS
Session Title: Industrial Water Reuse and Recycling
Statement on Research: My presentation will address the need for optimization of water treatment systems. Especially in water reuse, it is important to optimize the system output and reduce energy, water and chemical consumption. Intelligent algorithms help to fulfill these requirements in a fast and simple way.
Bio: Studies in chemistry from 1987 until 1992 with focus on chemical engineering and analytical chemistry at the Technical University of Karlsruhe. PhD work in the Karlsruhe form 1992 until 1995 about detection of heavy metal ions in drinking water. Since 1996 working in different companies for laboratory equipment in product management and marketing. Since 2006 working for Grundfos as business developer in the area of water treatment, focusing on intelligent system approach and digitalization.
