Born and raised near Cologne, Germany, Martin studied Environmental Engineering at Aachen University.

After graduating with a Master Thesis on process optimization in  Membrane Bioreactors (MBR), Martin joined KSS’ R&D team in 2007.

Working for KSS ever since, Martin has taken responsibilities in R&D, Project Execution and Process Engineering.

He was involved in the design and execution of dozens of water and wastewater projects all around the world.

Today, Martin is leading the European Process Engineering Team for Water and Wastewater applications.

His core fields of expertise is KSS’ PURON® MBR Technology, Engineering and he took a leading role in developing the PULSION MBR module.
