Mr. Silvio Oliva has been the Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors of Fisia Italimpianti – a company belonging to the Salini Impregilo Group active worldwide in the sustainable design and execution of water treatment and desalination plants – since May 2012. As such he has been in charge of driving the company business in the transition phase from thermal desalination to membrane desalination and water treatment. Prior to being entrusted the position of CEO, Silvio has been CFO in Fisia during 12 years, altogether achieving almost twenty years of experience in the Company. During his professional life he has been serving in the Salini Impregilo Group (former Impregilo Group) for more than 35 years, holding various positions in an extensive international career which took him to work in Colombia, Turkey, United States and Pakistan. In his career Silvio held several executive positions within the Group, including being member of the Board of several associated and controlled companies. He earned a BA in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Genoa and conducted several post degree specialization courses.
